Welcome to Calming Shores
A private practice based in Rotterdam where you can pause, breath, and be met with care. I offer online psychological support across the Netherlands, so whether you are nearby or in another city, you are welcome here. While I work with people from all walks of life, I have a special focus on supporting expats, students, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others navigating life transitions or seeking a deeper connection with themselves.

I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based techniques, but I also pay close attention to what feels right for you. Sometimes that includes somatic body work: gentle practices that help you tune into your body and find safety in the present moment. Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about supporting you through whatever you are going through, whether it's stress from living abroad, identity questions, academic pressure, perfectionism, or just feeling stuck or burned out.

Taking that first step into therapy can feel overwhelming. That's why I try to keep things simple, kind, and human. Sessions are always shaped around you, your pace, your needs, your way of expressing yourself. This is your space, and you do not have to go through things alone.
